Elaine earned her B.A. in Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her M.A. in psychology from Central Michigan University. She graduated from Wayne State University Law School and has been practicing law since 1999. In addition to practicing law, Elaine serves as a part-time professor of psychology at Central Michigan University. She is also a member of the Michigan Inter-Professional Association and the Collaborative Law Institute of Michigan. She is a trained collaborative law attorney.

Elaine is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Federal Bar and the United States Supreme Court Bar. She has worked in the corporate arena for 10 years prior to practicing law and worked as an intern at both the United States Attorney’s Office and the Michigan Court of Appeals.
